It was good but nowadays it is not refreshing correctly for 3-4 minutes behead with same time even when studies come for 1 place it wont notify i am fed up of this it was refreshing for each second but nowadays what happened i dont know

Doesn't work
Super bare bones, rudimentary extension. There is little utility for study notifications outside of getting a heads up for those studies that fill quickly; however, extension notifications are delayed, leading those studies to fill before you know of them. The extension also doesn't honor any filters you may have set on the site, and there is no option in the app to set filters, so you get notifications for studies you don't want. Pretty useless.
i keep getting alerts about studies that are already full, not once did it notify me when a place was actually available
Redress for damaged and exponential mental anguish. I spent most of my time uncompensated "appealing" "rejection holds" from bad "studies" and "researchers" instead of actually participating in studies to benefit actual researchers. The platform needs more IRB and FTC oversight to protect participants, and study/survey integrity. I reported the matter to the platform, but the matter persisted until I was permanently rejected. P.S. I would prefer this not be publicly available, but oh well.

I cannot give this a 5 because, unlike other comments below, the "voice" notification is "NOT" for me. That thing went off so many times I literally wanted to imaginary strangle it LOL...just kidding but unfortunately i'm removing this right now because I really can't take her saying " new studies available on prolific" every 2 minutes all day and night and even when i log out completely. too annoying
I just started Prolific and on the first day I was given 2 rejections for wrong reasons. My account was automatically put on hold and they don't answer my emails. This is very unorganized and frustrating. I was so excited when I first started and now I cannot do anything because of BS rejections. I fully complied with all terms and conditions and policies.
Every other day, it logs me out and it keeps showing me the red error icon, so I don't get any notifications. It does not accept my login back until it randomly does. Extremely annoying.

They updated this with no notice and turned one voice alerts, they spammed me 3 times about NEW STUDIES ARE AVAILABLE while I was on a conference call and got me written up. I tried to get some kind of help from their customer service but it's a bot, I got frustrarted and said "evil s bags" before disconnecting but not before I told the bot not to escalate any further. 22 days later they fired me for aggressively talking to their employees. For calling their chatbat a name. the chatbot that edited my chrome settings and turned on voice alerts and nearly got me fired... Genuinely in the no part of the entire interaction did they even recognized that them turning on voice alerts was problematic let alone unprofessional, I said the s word to a bot.

Can you fix the study checking time to the old. The old version checked once for 1 minute, but now it took longer and checked once for about 3 minute, that made us miss studies.

The extension does exactly what it is supposed to do. There is an occasional bug that will log you out, but minor issue. Only complaint is that the refresh interval is way too long, 20 to 30 seconds would be ideal....but 2 minutes renders it an afterthought (probably why Prolific approves of it) if the refresh rate was much shorter it would catch way more studies and people would see that it actually does work.

I think since I downloaded the extension a year ago, I have only received one alert and even then, the study was already full. Please fix it so it can actually be useful.
Useless. I haven't received any alerts since I downloaded in May this year, and when it worked previously, the studies were always full.
Not really very useful - tells me about surveys - but when I go to them they are full and misses many others. Does not retain the voice alerts either.

Worked great the 1st day it was installed, only very rarely since then. Oh, well, guess I'll just have to stay close to computer and check often for available studies.
Absolutely garbage, hardly ever works. Has been reported multiple times in both Support emails as well as Reddit by numerous people and has yet to be fixed for the past six or seven months.
Please will somebody fix it to give the option to turn the sound on or off. Thank you.

It is driving me crazy how after looking and looking and looking and looking and looking I can not find where to change the notification sound. Where is it????????
Where is the 0 star rating!? What exactly is the point of making an extension that most of the time doesn't notify me of jobs, and when it does, it CONSISTENTLY pops up a notification two or three minutes after a job is posted, therefore refreshing the Prolific jobs page reveals an empty jobs list. ABSOLUTELY USELESS. You mind as well remove this from the store.
It is going worse by the day for me.
